Hi all! I'm Carson. I'm 19 and I live in the US. I was first introduced to Animal Crossing when I was in fourth grade. A cousin of one of my friends was playing Wild World at lunch and talking to his friends about it. That's it.
Fast forward two years. I see a Prima Official Game Guide for City Folk while at Wal-Mart. I pick it up and flip through it. It looks cute, so I ask my mom to buy it for me. Throughout the week, I read the game guide and I fall in love with the game. I put it on my Christmas wishlist and, thankfully, I get it. I played it every day during my Christmas break. Once I go back to school, it's harder to play the game because the Wii is connected to the tv in the living room and when my mom gets home from work, she wants to watch tv. Ultimately, the game gets forgotten about.
Fast forward another four years. I'm scrolling down Tumblr and I see a post about New Leaf. I get super excited because it's an Animal Crossing game for your DS! But then I learn you need a 3DS. I didn't have a 3DS. I didn't have the money for one, either. I only work in the summertime so I won't have disposable income for awhile. I spend the whole month of June working in order to save the money. The Wal-Mart in my town doesn't carry the 3DS so I have to go to the city an hour away to buy one. The day after I buy it, I drop it and it won't turn on! I have to wait almost a month to go back to the store and get it replaced. Needless to say, it is quite a long wait. I spend time reading the guide book I ordered from Amazon.com and planning my town.
Finally, when my 3DS is replaced and I slide the cartridge in, I fall in love with the game and have been playing ever since.
