Hello.. new here/to the game!

Hiya I picked up a 3DS (first hand held I've had) around the black Friday madness. Included in my bundle was Happy Home Designer, which I played a lot and wanted more stuff to do - so I bought new leaf!
I don't know how much time I've spent playing but its pretty addicting, haha.

I do have a question that can maybe be answered here -
Will I have more storage options? Early on I found a balloon closet. I'm just wondering if that is all the storage I will have, or can I have several closets? There are so many items in this game! Is it like other games where I will have to sell/delete things to get new?

To answer your question, you will always have 180 slots to store items in your closet (per character), separated into A, B, and C which each have 6 pages of 10 slots. Owning more than one closet won't affect it, it just gives you more places to access your storage. However, I do know that some people use their mail storage to store items as well.

Hi, welcome! Adding onto happinessdelight's comment, you can also get more storage space after unlocking the second floor of the museum. There's 4 rooms which allows you to use them however you like. Be sure to donate each type (bugs, art, fossils, fish) to museum so you can unlock this. :3

As long as you're playing as your character (I assume you're playing as your mayor), they have 180 slots. If you make a new side character, they will also have 180 slots. Most people use the side characters for storage for items and QR codes.

To answer your last question, as long as you keep buying from the Nooklings store, it will eventually expand to include more items for sale. You don't have to sell/delete items, it's all your choice whether you like the item or not. You will get more money/Bells if you sell at Retail. The Nooklings act as a middleman for Retail.
