I took a break from the villager reset trick trying to move Sprinkle in and put in my Wild World cartridge...i am coming to terms with that game is so damn old...i'm getting old (or so it feels). This game was my childhood. At some point in middle school, my friends around me had it and i would play with them just not often. I would sit at the top of my grandma's stairs and listen to K.K. play in Brewster's newbie cafe down in the basement of the museum. Someone's gotta start somewhere right? As i travel around my weed invested town i start trying to work the buttons. Its hard when you've played New Leaf for a year, everyday, then go back into something old with different controls, same buttons. There i met Punchy, Bill, Cyrano, Ribbot. Chow, Purrl, Melba, Bunnie and Bones's memory in a moving away letter. I visited Mable and Sable and gosh how their shop is so small but the fact that Mabel had the license to buy your clothes back instead of running to Nook all the time. THREE pieces of clothing and two accessories all on one floor. I went to the beach and saw Coconut trees line from one end to the other. I planted more then watered them 'cause yes kids, that was a thing, watering trees. I'm not ssure they will grow as far as i remember they were a pain in the butt. They had to be one space back from the shore line and i think buried in summer so i doubt i will be disappointed if they don't grow. I've been away from Wild World for 10 months, i go on once in a while. I'm surprised i haven't reset it yet, given it away or sold it. I guess it brings back memories, good ones. There are still a lot of differences. You can't tell Celeste she's cute any more, no more constellations. Villagers don't really ask for fossils any more. Blathers doesn't blab any more. Even though i felt i spent my time with him rolling my eyes and trying to make him talk faster with the B button, i feel he's closed off now in New Leaf like his confidence is shattered as if someone said STFU. A lot has changed and now..i don't mind things are as they're meant to be. When i opened New Leaf and i first met Kapp'n i was like "who the hell is he?!" but now i realise, he was the taxi driver in Wild World. So there are some things i have forgotten.

It's been 10 years, since Wild World has been out...I'll never regret New Leaf and i'll never forget Wild World.

I feel you. Wild World was the game that got me into Animal Crossing, I just loved it. But then I packed my DS away for two years, and now whenever I've tried to get back into Wild World this year the game's frozen and I've had to reset and it's made me so impatient that I just play Let's Go to the City (and New Leaf, when I get it). Still Wild World will always have a spot close to my heart.
