Hello, reader.

I recently picked up New Horizons again after the 2.0 update dropped like many others and was convinced to join TBT forums after years of not participating in forums and being too intimidated when I was playing New Leaf. Hopefully I'll keep breaking out of my comfort zone and finally complete goals I set for myself when I started my file. :)

Up until the update, I'd been dabbling in taking care of houseplants as a beginner plant parents, bullet journaling and this year, I successfully grew sunflowers in my backyard! I also started playing FFXIV (Final Fantasy 14) and I finally have time to divert my attention to other games since I caught up to the MMORPG's main story. If you're reading this, what have you been playing on the side? Did you pick up any other hobbies? If you've been mainly playing ACNH (or any older games), what have you been doing? Any goals you've made progress in?

Thanks for stopping by!

Welcome to TBT, and welcome back to ACNH! 😊🎉

Ooh, what type of houseplants do you have/like? 😊 Congrats on your successful sunflowers! Aren't growing sunflowers so satisfying? Sunflowers make me so happy, and growing them makes me even more happy! 🌻

I slowed down my playing of ACNH before the update, and started drawing digitally. Now with the update, I've been playing more ACNH than drawing!

Hello, thank you! :)

I currently have two at the moment! I have a Spider Plant (Chrolophytum comosum - the Bonnie variety so it's curly!) and a Chinese money plant (Pilea peperomioides), it seems that I have a thing for plants that grow bigger than the pot. 😅 I saw some Strawberry begonia (Saxifraga stolonifera) for sale at my local plant store but I passed on them since they're slightly toxic to cats and I have a kitty that likes to poke her paws and nose into plants. 😭

Yes! 🌻 I bought seeds of Mongolian Giant and Russian Mammoth sunflowers and I haven't quite found that sweet spot to start planting them since frost tends to stay a little bit longer for me, but they grew to be very tall! It's such a boost of serotonin to see so many bees come and visit. :) Did you notice any critters coming to visit you after you started growing sunflowers? I think I spotted a few squirrels!

Oh! I hope you've been having fun! Do you draw traditionally too? How do you like it so far? You could compile lots of ideas while playing so that you can revisit them when the mood strikes. :)

Hello that's really cool rutile! I couldn't imagine being a plant parent too much stress...but I dropped the series too and recently came back I got into collecting Japanese comics or manga translated into English it's been really fun and my collection is over 100 volumes now!

Hi! Hahaha, it definitely challenges you to keep to a routine but divide your attention somewhat. Oh, sweet! Are there any particular series or collections that you've been focused on collecting lately? :) Are you collecting every single volume or only ones you like/arcs that you enjoy?

I'm collecting full series currently I'm focusing on a combination of Love & Lies, Yona of the Dawn, Twin Star Exorcists and soon I'd like to start Noragami bc I really loved that anime in my early teens!

I haven't seen the curly variety of the spider plants before, so I Googled, and they are so cute! Money plants are also so lovely to look at! 😍

I didn't notice any critters the last time I planted sunflowers, but I always see bunnies hanging out in my front yard, and I wonder if they would like them? It's still spring here, so it would be a perfect time to plant them I think! I love seeing the bees too! It would be so sweet if squirrels came to visit your sunflowers! 😍

I am much worse at traditional drawing, though I still practice so I can improve. I'm going to draw Lottie as soon as I get the chance, because I think she is just so adorable!

How have you been finding bullet journaling? I've seen a few people start bullet journaling recently, so I'm curious to know if you've been enjoying it, if you're happy to do it each day, or if you miss days, etc! 😊

Oh!! I recognize Yona and Noragami out of the ones you listed! :) Do you have a favourite volume cover for any of the series you're collecting so far? Or any covers that you're really looking forward to adding to your collection?

Yesss! :D The round leaves of the Money plants makes me so happy! So round!

Oh! Bunnies! That's so cute! I mainly see the random hare here and there when I'm driving home but never on my lawn before. If you decide to plant them again this year, I hope they grow healthily! I managed to spot some Leafcutter bees visiting my sunflowers and I'd never noticed them before. I hope you see some critters visiting if you grew sunflowers or anything this season.

Hahaha, yes! There's a post that I saw on Twitter where it someone was talking about just indulging in your love for a character and seeing where that takes you (art-wise!). :)

I've been busier so I'm only doing days where I can sit down and fill stuff out but it being so flexible is why I'm able to keep using it! Part of the appeal for me is being able to decorate the pages. I have a small collection of stationery that keeps growing and growing. 😅

Hmmm that's a tough one a lot of the covers are really pretty favorite cover I won would probably be Yona vol 1 but almost all the covers are great as for a series I really want to collect it's 3 Blade of the Immortal Berserk and Noragami

Hiya!
I'm happy the update has drawn more people back to the game!
