I just signed on here today. I just started playing ACNL this March 21. I like all the Animal Crossing games and I am quickly finding out that I need some friends to better play NL. Now, I am a mom and a grandmom so I hope that does not deter anyone. This is simply a fun game I enjoy and hope to make some friends here. Working at making Cat Cove the best town it can be. Nice to meet you Miss Noodle (Cathy) I am one of those fun grandmas ( at least according to my three teen grandchildren), so no worries. I'm okay with a lot of things but I do not allow running in my town. Worked too hard to plant all those flowers but I'm sure you understand that.

Thanks everyone. I agree that age does not matter. This is just a fun game I enjoy when I get some time to play it which is usually mornings and late evening.

i hope you like these forums!! oh, and what would you like us to call you? I made up the nickname granni but idk if youd be okay with that. I would just call you gran/fivegran but I call my irl grandma gran and I feel like that name is reserved for her you know?

LOL My five grandchildren calll me Granna hence the user name FiveGran. I do not like granni or granny. I had one of those and she was not very nice. You can call me April if you like. That is my middle name I use sometimes. I hope you enjoy your dream visit to Cat Cove. I love cats so I had to give a nod to them in my town. I even found some cool paw paths and flag that goes very well with my town name. My character Diamond is from my AC Wild World days. If you do visit let me know what you think. It is still a work in progress.

Nice to meet you Mayor Sarah A visit to the island would be fun. This day is a booked up day and evening. Some days I have lot's of time and others like today are super busy. I'm just here now waiting on a load of laundry to get done. I am looking forward to some town and island visits.

I just introduced myself. I'm not a grandma, but I am a mother to teenagers - just a couple of years from having them all in college! I absolutely love this game, as does my best friend, who's the same age I am. It really does appeal to all ages.

Nice to meet you Lysandre and Imaginetheday I have to tell how I found out about this game. I was researching what 3DS I might like and this game popped up as a recommendation and it quickly caught my attention. The first review I read was that of a 66 year old grandma and it was a glowing one at that. I then found out it came out last June so I am late to the party as they say. But better late than never. Hahaha I even scolded my oldest granddaughter for not telling me about it but she said she did not know either. I went the very next morning and bought it along with a 2DS which works just fine. I have enjoyed playing it ever since. It just fits whatever age.
