Hello, everybody!
So I bought New Leaf this morning with the idea that this would be a game where I could stroll about casually and build a nice little town. My game-related OCD led me to google whether or not the opening questions had any lasting effect on the game. Lo and behold, ~8 hours and loads of related link-clicking later and I have yet to perform my first save. Obviously this is my first Animal Crossing, but now I find myself compelled to obtain the perfect town layout to accommodate my inevitable, needlessly large estate along with any future residents (player-controlled or otherwise).
Suffice to say I was a bit overwhelmed with how complex this game is turning out to be, but I'm all for the challenge if it means creating the most aesthetically-pleasing (subjectively) town possible. I look forward to the experience and getting to know all of you while maybe learning a thing or two along the way, if you'll have me.
tl;dr Long-winded introduction...Hi! Excited to start my first Animal Crossing game!
