I have very recently reset my ACNL town, and so decided to sign up here. I have been visiting this website for a while and am quite familiar with the layout of things, but hadn't thought to make an account until now.
My name is Quentin (feel free to call me Q), and I've been playing Animal Crossing on and off for around about 5-6 years. I'm a sort of veteran to the series, but still have a lot to learn when it comes to some of the new mechanics. I rarely play over WiFi with other players, as I am used to a sort of solitary playing that the gamecube blessed me with for many a day, but I am looking to change that and get more involved with other fans!
As I said, I am and off-and-on player, and have a type of love-hate relationship with the series. I used to be irritated by the animal characters themselves and only use the game for decorating my house and town! Now, however, I've grown to appreciate some of the quirky and surprisingly clever things they say. (That animalese still makes me want to grind my teeth sometimes...)
I don't want to make this too long a post, but just wanted to say hello. I'm looking forward to using this forum a lot in time to come.
