My name is Ava and I am completely new to the Animal Crossing world. I'll be getting a Nintendo switch lite in a few days and the only reason I'm getting it is to play Animal Crossing New Horizons!

Thank you! You know ... I went to Amazon to place my order for the Switch Lite and I have no idea what happened. I think my hand slipped and I accidentally bought the Animal Crossing version of the Switch I just couldn't help myself, it looked so cute! Hopefully I won't have to worry about joystick drift. Do you know how common it is?

Hello there! Welcome to the forums! Joycon drift isn't that common and only happens after heavy use. My joycons lasted for a couple months because I always used them in Pokemon but only the left Joycon drifts left and right.
