Hiya. I joined a couple days ago but I was afraid to post lol. I have been playing since City Folk but I recently acquired every single Animal Crossing game that was released in the US, at least for the mainline franchise. I forgot how much I loved AC until recently...it's a series with a lot of charm.

I have been playing New Horizons since it came out but I took a long 5 month break. Now I'm re-doing my entire island.

Oh that's exciting! I've been thinking of tearing the whole island down, rather than renovating one section at a time, but I can't do it. Do you have a plan for your island, like a theme or must-have villagers?

Oh yes! I sm trying, as much as I can, to replicate my Gamecube village. The villagers I want specifically have to have been in the first AC at least. I don't mind my custom paths not showing since that's authentic to AC GCN where paths were just decor. I hate that custom paths make that weird wet paper sound though...

hello! welcome to tbt! it’s lovely to meet you.

it’s super cool that you own every mainline animal crossing game; i’ve only ever owned and played wild world, new leaf and new horizons, but i’d love to own the gamecube version and city folk one day as well! i hope you’re having fun!

your idea to replicate your gamecube village in new horizons is so neat, too! i’d absolutely love to see it one day when it’s done, if you’re comfortable sharing — no pressure, though! ^_^
