My name is Abby and I'm a new user! I'm a 25 year old woman living in Philly. Lifelong Animal Crossing fan currently playing New Horizons (so hype for the update!). I used to be involved in another Animal Crossing forum a decade ago that I can't remember the name of at all (I think it no longer exists). Looking to connect with a larger AC community again and remembered this forum was a thing, so finally made an account Excited to meet you all!

Since you're a lifelong Animal Crossing fan, I have to ask you, who is your favourite villager, and have they always been your favourite? Also, what are you most excited about in the update?!

Since you're a lifelong Animal Crossing fan, I have to ask you, who is your favourite villager, and have they always been your favourite? Also, what are you most excited about in the update?!

Thank you! Oh man, what a hard question. Punchy is probably my favorite villager of all time, I think he was in my original town on the GameCube! In general I really like the cat villagers. I'm most excited for the Happy Home Paradise DLC - I really liked the 3DS game and I can't wait to redo my villagers' houses lol (and my own).

Ah, Punchy is so cute. I love his facial expression and his black and white colouring. My favourite is Agnes! My first favourite villager was Goldie, but Agnes was one of the two starters on my New Horizons island, and she just grew on me really quickly! I don’t necessarily have a favourite species, but I accidentally find myself with a lot of normal and peppy villagers. I do like bears a lot though!

I am so excited for the HHP DLC too! I can’t wait to design my villagers’ houses so they better represent their personalities/favourite colours/hobbies/etc better! I also get too attached to my villagers, so I haven’t cycled through enough villagers in ACNH. Designing vacation homes is going to allow me to interact with more villagers that I wouldn’t necessarily see! And then of course, the partitions, counters, and all the new furniture. The week seems to be going so slowly in anticipation.

i’m super excited for the update and the DLC as well! i personally never played happy home designer, nor do i really care much for designing interiors that aren’t my own lol, but it all looks incredible!! i can’t wait to see the new furniture and faculties it’ll bring, along with which villagers i’ll design houses for!

you’ve got great taste in villagers! punchy is absolutely adorable, and he’s actually two of my friends’ favourite villager as well! i’m always happy to see him receive the love he deserves.

Ooh I love Goldie and think she was one of my originals too! And Agnes was one of my starters on New Horizons too!!! I love her. I'm soooo excited to redecorate her house especially because it's all that plain wooden block furniture and like random fish lol. I like the snobby and normal villagers best.

Yeah I don't cycle through villagers much either. There are some on my island where if they said they wanted to move, I would let them, but most of them I want to stay forever. So it will be cool to get more villagers through HHP! The 5th can't come fast enough!

Thank you! I think I would die if Punchy moved into my current village, lol. The only cat I have is Lolly but she is awesome too.
