Hello everyone! I'm new here and I'm hoping to meet some really cool people and make some friends to play animal crossing with. I'm not necessarily new to the game, I started playing it back when covid first started. I unfortunately stopped playing for a long while for a few reasons such as just losing motivation to keep playing, getting sick, and getting too busy with work and life. Well, everything is a lot better now and I've finally gotten back into playing and decided to start fresh! My island island doesn't have a lot since I started new not too long ago haha and I'm still working on it, but I'd love to play with other people, visit and show off each others islands and help out with whatever!

Did you restart your island completely? I've thought about it, and just can't do it! Is there anything you're looking forward to changing on your island this time round?

And yes, I completely restarted it a while ago. I lost motivation for my old one and wasn't super happy with it, so I figured I'd just make a new one. I'm looking forward to decorating it again and trying to find my "style". I think last time I got really caught up in trying to make it look like other people's that I've seen. I've learned to just take inspiration and do what I want/like. It's taken a while to get to where I am but it's been fun! Right now I'm still working on getting my island to 5 stars and have KK visit.. I sorta forgot how much work it took lol, but I'm slowly getting there. I think it's taking a little longer because I've been playing the new DLC a lot instead of working on my actual island haha.

It's definitely a lot of work!

At least while you play the DLC, you'll also be unlocking new furniture at the same time (and you won't even have to spend bells on it)!

Oh yeah for sure! I've already gotten a few neat items and can't wait to get more! Decorating homes is probably my most favorite thing to do - so many options and new things to try!
