I've been reading this forum since December and I finally decided to register today!

I love the Animal Crossing games and am super excited for New Leaf to come out! I even bought a couple of the guide books and magazines (which arrived today) so I could plan out my town early. I don't know how actively I'll post, but I love the forum and look forward to talking about AC! XD

Which guide books and magazines did you buy, if you don't mind me asking? I've been tempted to do so myself.

Oh I bought the guide books with the white cover and the metallic foil blue cover. They're both pretty nice and show a lot of images/information. A lot of the images are a bit small, but I'm mostly using them to plan my houses/town.

I plan to use the item checklist that came with the blue one (took me a couple minutes to realize it was gently attached to the inside cover of the blue book, LOL), but will use some small prismatic stickers to "check" the items off. XD

As for magazines, I got 3 that had animal crossing content: Pico-Pri February, Pico-Pri April, and Chara Parfait comic (only get this one if you really, really only want to see 6 pages of AC:NL comics). The Pico-Pri ones are the cutest and I posted some photos of them on my tumblr. I have no idea what to use the stickers for, because they're so small they seem like they should be used for schedule books or something.

And then I got April issues of 5 magazines that were fashion related: Seventeen, Steady, Nicola, Pichi Lemon, and Popteen. I usually like to get Can-Cam too, but Amazon Japan didn't have the April issue when I ordered and I didn't want the March one...
