Ok...so I just got myself a Wacom Intuous Creative 2 stylus to use on my iPad. There are a bazillion apps out there...! Which ones could you recommend for a noob? One that could grow as I learn more, but is not so complicated that it takes the fun out of art?

Luuuucckkkyyy!! ❤️ Lol :rolleyes:
I like using ibisPaint ... I am a total noob, more so the you, I am sure ... And I have produced a few pics that aren't horribly shabby! There is a good online tutorial with it too ... Now if only I had more time I would be on it constantly
I have tried others on my iPad too but this is the one I like the best ... Have fun with your stylus! ... Jealous

Pen- Trust me...I am waay more noob to drawing! Now...sewing, crafting, clay...borderline pro...digital drawing...NOPE. Lol. I will check that one out. So far I have played with the Adobe Illustrator & Sketch apps...meh.

I've tried out a lot of art apps and I've found IbisPaint to be my favorite. Good luck!

I wish I had a stylus, you can't do much with just your finger ;-;

I prefer ibisPaint to sketchbook too (I remembered I had tried it previously and as soon as I opened it up, I remembered why I didn't like it so well!) ... Much easier to use for me anyway ... Dying to get a stylus! Stoooopid finger! Lol :rolleyes:
I also tried Tayasui ... Not sure of the spelling ... But I found it very hard to use!

i used ibisxpaint when i started out! i always wanted a stylus for my ipad ;-;
are you thinkng of ever getting an actual drawing tablet someday? the one i have is pretty affordable if you do.

My daughter has 2 wacoms. I have doodled on them. I am old (really!) and just want to slowly learn to doodle a little better...in a portable (...another kids baseball game...?) way, soooo, since the wacom tablets have a great reputation, I nabbed the stylus.

I tried the ibis and sketchbook apps. On the fence, but so far I think the ibis app seems more user friendly
