Help! Don't know how to customize phone!

So I bought the phone customization kit or whatever lol but I don't know how to use it? I don't know if it goes into my inventory or something. It's not there though. The option isn't on the bench or in my patterns app.. so how? D:

Via Customization at a Workbench. It uses regular (non-pro) patterns.

Once you have the kit, so to a workbench with it in your inventory and you'll be able to customize your phone.

You have to attend the crafting workshop from Tom Nook, I just did it.

Did you put them into storage, or sell them? If you have completed the Customization Workshop, you may buy more from Nook's Cranny for 600 Bells each.

Once it's in your inventory, go up to the bench and choose "customize something"
Then choose the phone case item. Once you order on the Nook machine it shows up in the mail the next day

Do be noted, however customizing your phone case is a sort of one-time case. Make you choose one you're okay with because once you customize it, the case item will be gone. So if you end up wanting to change your case again, you'll have to buy a whole new one with another 1,800 miles.
