Help! Error code 2618-0513

Apologies if this doesn’t go here... but I can’t find a resolution.

I (and my wife and kids) can travel to any island in our friends circle. They can come to my island.

My sister can do the same within the same circle of friends.

But I (and my wife and kids) can’t go to HER island and she can’t come to mine (or my wife and kids). It gives an error. Yet we can interact with each other while on someone else’s island.

Surely there’s someone tech savvy here that can figure out what the deal is? When I googled that error code, people couldn’t interact with anyone, not just one person.

I have NAT type B and she’s A.

Is your switch up to date? It could be causing the issue

OK SO.
Are you using the same download through one nintendo account to play on both consoles?
If this is the case you can not go to each others towns. You'd need 2 copies (one for each switch) for it to work
My bf and I had the same issue but since getting him his own copy we have had no issue

If that is not the case then I have no idea o uo;;

My sister has the physical game and I have digital. We have the same ISP (she’s one town over from us).
