Help! Item stuck

My friend dropped off some vines for me and placed it on my island (near the airport) but I can’t pick up. There’s no item bubble like the other vines I have? I have restarted the game and my switch, had her come back and tried to pick the items up but they can’t.

any ideas on how to remove?

Are they planted? Can you use your shovel to dig them up?

Not planted! Just dropped from their inventory on a path near my airport.

that sounds like a glitch. maybe try the construction item removal and hope it works.. not sure what else you could do aside from contacting support good luck!

did you try the request cleanup on the construction app yet? may be worth a try before trying to go through support. heres the link for support (it may be a different link depending on your region though idk)

Were you able to figure this out . Since it is a vine and they should be attached to a cliff. Can you terraform a cliff behind the vine and maybe pick it up that way?
