Help me with a jingle conundrum

So, Reneigh just moved onto my island today, so she’s unpacking her boxes at her house. Meanwhile, jingle has assigned me as Santa to deliver gifts. I have delivered to everybody except Reneigh. When I try to gift Renee she, of course, tells me she’s busy, etc. Then, when I go back to jingle, he tells me I’m not done yet. Wondering if I should time forward to get her moved and then come back to the current time and deliver her present? Do you think this will work?

Are you sure you gave gifts to everyone else? I saw someone had a villager in boxes and was able to complete the event by only giving gifts to their 9 other villagers.

Click on the magic back from your inventory and select " look inside" it will tell you if you still have a gift inside and for who it is

I had Eunice in boxes so couldn’t give him a present but I was still able to complete Toy Day. Are you sure you’re not missing anyone?
