Doubt it. Just try using the Action Replay code. If you don't have an AR, I'd suggest investing in one. From what I heard, it's the only way to fix it.

I wish I could help but I sold my AC:WW and Action Replay. DX

Try re-building your town and then see if it works. sometimes that can fix it.

You should always check the person's posts before you wifi with them on AC:WW. If they seem like they're desperate to visit a town on AC:WW, then they are probably a seeder.
