Hello! I have a question and I didn’t find any answer, I’m worried about making a mistake that I can’t fix in animal crossing new horizon ** I misplaced the habitats of the new villagers ** In the mission where we have to place the house of the 3 new villagers, I placed 2 houses on the other side of the river so not accessible with the pond, I can’t move forward because of that.. because my town hall won’t evolve without the arrival of those if and I can’t find a way to build a second pond... please help I don’t want to start over.. I can’t be the only one who did this
If I understood your question correctly, it shouldn't be a problem. Villagers will still move in, even if you can't reach their houses without a vaulting pole and/or ladder.
So you can't get to the houses? The villagers move in regardless of where you place them, and they should still come out of their house and wander around your island, so you will be able to talk to them and everything.
But, if you have a vaulting pole, you should be good to get to the other side of the river
How did you place the houses in inaccessible areas? Are they inaccessible to you or just the villagers? As others said, I think you should be fine if it's just the villagers. You just need to finish building the exterior and interior furniture. The game will pick a random villager to move in or you can go invite one yourself.
If you have the online subscription someone can come bring you a vaulting pole if you don't already have one! Villagers who move in can be found around the island or in the plaza even when there are no bridges so you won't hurt your game by having them move into an inaccessible area. On both of my islands I started my villagers across a river with no access and had no issues with them moving in.
