Help with red roses

Ok so I've been trying to get some black roses but I haven't had much luck.
I planted the roses the way everyone says to:

oooxooo
ooooxoo

(o - blank space)
(x - red rose)

I have also been watering them twice every day.
I don't plant every set next to each other, I sort them out.
Any tips?

There hard to get. I suggest buying some on Auction House.

I've got a bunch of black roses. You just have to give it time. Like maybe 2 weeks. Make sure to water them every day, it's theorized using a silver watering can will increase your luck on getting a hybrid out of them.

Just keep trying.
Patience is needed.
A lot of it.
And then you need to let it wilt, which should be simple. Just run through it twice and then the next day it'll probably be wilted. It worked with me...

I heard that its bad to water your flowers every day if ur tryin to get hybrids, only water them if they wilt, i saw it in the hybrid guide on TBT and then i did as it said and i got orange pansies

Nice, I water them 2 times every day with silver watering can and I got a Black Rose.

you dont have to water them unless they are brown and also you just have to get lucky i had two purple tulips for a couple of months and in the past two weeks i got 2 more

To make it easier to get black roses, just plant a bunch of red roses by each other (3x3 rows of red roses).

I've read that's the worst way to get hybrids.
