I found out that you can only get one villager from mystery Islands and I have two empty plots. I don't want random villagers coming to my island. Does anyone have any villagers in boxes I can get. I will pay if needed! Thanks

I wonder though. How did you cope with the smug villager who resides at the campsite after having first build it, which the game randomly select for you and whom you are forced to invite to live on your island if you ever want to progress in the game? Unless you've only recently started playing and haven't gotten to this point yet. Then you're in for a surprise I guess.
Free plots should only be filled one per day. If you've invited someone the other plot should remain free on your next day. But even if I'm wrong and it's taken, greet the random unwanted resident as an equal and don't stress out about it. Play the game like it was meant to. Eventually this resident will come up to you one day and tell you he/she/it is thinking about leaving your island. At which point you can agree, say your farewells, and start your search for the next ideal candidate.

Thank you so much! I really liked the villager I got at the camp-site (Shep) and got one of my favourites at a mystery island (Azalea). I didn't realise plots filled once daily so I was really lucky I had two villagers ready from that first day. Thanks again for your help!
