I've been playing animal crossing for 10 years (started on the game cube) but I just got new leaf and found out there's a giant online community for animal crossing which I think is super cool so ayyy here I am, I'm barely started New Leaf but I think getting my town up and going is will be really fun and I'm excited to have to have people to talk about it with!!

I've also just found out about villager buying/trading and I'd like to know about how that works if anyone cares to enlighten me

So villager trading works like this. Sometimes when a villager is going to move away and is in boxes, people will post on the forum that they will give away/ sell/ trade that villager! If you win the give away/ buy / trade for the villager the mayor will let you into their town so you can talk to the villager and have them move in! I hope this explanation is helpful! c=
