HHN Challenges

I have to say that A Harsh Habitat (HHN Challenge #12) was better than last month's, mainly because last time, both items are repeat items to those who played in every HHN challenge October.

The first eight challenges were promising because they guarantee two new items for the HHN. But starting HHN challenge #9 (as soon as DLC support has ended), we were getting repeat items. I only play to collect HHN items now. It's not worth playing for competition anymore.

I know there aren't as many HHN items, but what's your opinion on the newer challenges?

I honestly suck at coming up with some amazing design like I've seen people do... I play the challenges just to get the items...

I play the challenges too to get the items. I used to work REALLY HARD on all the design challenges, but when Nintendo deletes my house so quickly after I designed it, I lost interest. But I think the items are so fun!

Yeah, the items are fun. It's just the challenges I don't like.

My favorite HHN items are the tea cups ride, the candy house, and the tent. I even put the tea cups ride in the departmemt store to represent a mall with an amusement park ride.

Personally, I don't really do it for the competition, I only do it for the items and being able to come up with ideas.

As for the current challenge, I based mine around the idea of global warming. Its... Not that great, but I think its different at least, and that is all I can ask for. It took ages to come up with the idea, but when I get an idea, it turns out pretty decent.

I do them all twice- the price you pay when you play in both Japanese and English. I do the Japanese one as well as I can since I'm trying to make it look like other Japanese players creations- I suck badly at that, and the North American one, well... I just get the item and run, sometimes just open them, tell Nook I'm done and call it a day!
