HHP and yearly events ?

Has anyone TT for mayor yearly events like toy day, halloween, thanks giving, sakura season etc. does the HHP island change deco? Or are the menus special? Or are there special activities ? Or just overall different vibe ? Or is it static all year round ?

Does anyone know ? .

As my HHP island is getting ready for the big event ( which im loving the slow changes and diff. Deco ) i was wondering if it would accommodate other events even if it is in the slight-less manner, .
