I made Sasha one of my waiters for the restaurant— he got sick and never returned to his role. Is there anyway I can place him back?

just enter the restaurant and press the left arrow in the pad, you should be able to change waiters.

That's strange though, is the first time I hear about workers getting sick.

Apparently if you have them on your island and they’re sick they won’t show up for work! Not sure if it applies to ones you don’t have ^^

Maybe if they aren’t on your island, it’s RNG? I find it weird how they don’t return after one day though. It sucks you have to manually add them back.
