Hello, Veronika! Having Mayors visit you or you boarding a train & travelling to their town is a nice feature in New Leaf. You can trade, interact w/ their residents, explore their homes/how the Mayor likes to design their surroundings, & of course, we have the island Tours. However, some points:
If you're growing hybrids, be wary of theft. The lesson here is NEVER leave your gate open while you're not playing.
For trades, do NOT invite others in (close the gate when the trader arrives) as you can't effectively monitoring everyone.
Those that REMAIN on your Friends List should be the trusted sort, because theft & mayhem is all too easy. If you suspect something odd, flip off the Wifi switch which will boot every visitor & your game will then revert to the last Save.
