I'm new to the forum, but not to Animal Crossing. I started on the Gamecube version. It was one of the first games we bought for my then-5 year old son (so I'm obviously not one of the younger players - ha!). I also played AC: City Folk. I played as a secondary character on my daughter's copy of New Leaf, then she got me my own copy for Christmas, and I've been building my town ever since. Love this game!!

I find that I've been doing a lot of internet searches for information about the game, so I decided to finally join a forum about it. Looking forward to learning more about this great game! :)

Hello !!

Welcome to the forums !!

omg can a 5 years child play AC already? haha ; v ; I would be lost !! I'm sure your son is pretty smart !! > w <;;

hope you enjoy your stay !!

I used to have to sit there and read every bit of text involved in the game. I was sooo glad when he learned to read. Then, of course, I had to do the same with my daughter. We all have very fond memories of the game.

AC is a very fun game to do with your children. Mine are all grown up and have families of their own. I played ACWW with my three oldest grandchildren and my daughter-in-law but none of them have heard of the new ACNL. Like you I was researching a lot on the internet and this forum kept coming up so I thought why not! It would be a good place to meet new people and make new friends. :)
