I started a month ago and was playing in isolation. I didn't know how to play so I did a lot of really dumb things (like waste iron crafting junk when I needed to save it for Nook's Cranny LOL). All my villagers are random. I got Knox, Becky, Ace, Ursala, Kiki, Raymond, Curlos, Benedict, Apple, and Felix. Apple just moved away and I got a total random cat (Kid Cat) who just moved in. It's been hilarious! I wonder if there are better villagers out there, but so far, these guys have been good.Welcome to the forums!
How long have you been playing New Horizons? Do you have any favourite villagers?
I think out of all these, my favorite is Ursala the pink bear.

I've been playing since just after the game was released, with a few breaks in between.
My favourite villager is Agnes the pig, but my favourite species of villager are bears. I love the bear villagers, and Ursala is super sweet!
Can't wait for you to meet so many new villagers!
I definitely wasted materials when I started my island! Do you have ideas about how you want to decorate your island or a style you're going for?

Right now, half my island is uninhabited because I turned it into a huge amusement park. I put all the villagers on the other half of the island so hardly anyone wanders to the park side. I figured it was the easiest way to get 5 stars without having to do serious landscaping. All the huge high ticket items are amusement rides.I've been playing since just after the game was released, with a few breaks in between.

Hi Pottercrossing. My fav NPC is Flick. He's so cute!!! My fav villager is a little pink bear named Ursala.

My island has native oranges. I did get peaches and apples but I still do not have pears or cherries although my villagers keep taunting me with recipes for cherry and pear food items that I cannot make.
. many subsequent trips abroad remains fruitless. I am forever hopeful though.

I think Flick is so cute! Too bad he's not a villager or I would do whatever it takes to get him to move to my island.
There is also this rag bear with different colors that I like, but that would most likely have to be an amiibo card invite. I tell you. When Knox patrols around the island (especially at night), he gives a comforting feeling, especially when that ghost is prowling around at the periphery. LOL

don’t feel too bad about doing ‘dumb’ things when you first started playing. everyone makes mistakes, and we all gotta start somewhere; you’ll get the hang of everything eventually! and if you ever have any questions or need help with anything, please don’t hesitate to ask! we’d be happy to help you out.
you’ve got a great batch of villagers! ursala is actually one of my favourites as well; she’s super cute, and insanely underrated. it’s nice to see some love for her! there’s definitely a huge variety of villagers in the game (over 400), but i’m glad to hear that you’re happy with the villagers you currently have! i hope you continue to meet new villagers that you like as you continue playing!

Thanks! I'm super excited to be a part of such a friendly community. Sadly, the only season that I've had experience with is spring since I just started April 1 (no joke! LOL). Favorite event so far...catching the falling pink petals. I spent a week doing almost nothing but catching petals.
Favorite species. So far, all I have interacted with are chickens, cats, a bird, a hamster, a ram, and a bear. Not much variety there, but since my fav villager is the sweet adorable Ursala, I'm going to go with bears. She looks just like a plush toy bear and just as cuddly.

My latest dumb dumb thing I did...Raymond was looking at a grand piano in the Nook Store and was wishing for it so I coughed up the bells and bought it for him.
