So what does "lurking" mean. I said I wanted to lurk for something....does that mean I want it, but can't trade now..?

There may be a few different ways it can be used, but I know that when someone posts 'lurking' on a cycling thread it means they're watching out for villagers they'd like.

Lurking on an internet forum basically means looking around, reading posts, and going through the forums without actually making any posts or contributing to a thread in any way.

lurking on this forum is basically to be notified when something is available.
usually lurking is used in the Villager Trading Plaza so that you can lurk for a villager to know exactly when they're in boxes and ready for you to pick up!
