Hello! I haven’t been an active member of any forums, so I hope this is the time that I’ll be able to do that!
My name is Hamien and I use he/him pronouns I have been playing Animal Crossing New Horizons for a little more than a year now. My favorite villagers are Apollo and Rodney! I also have a 5 star island. I’m not the best at layout and I’m not a great terrain builder, but I create what makes me feel comfy!

I love Apollo, and Rodney is so cute. I’m not a great terrain builder either, I just start and hope for the best! Do you think ”comfy” is your island vibe, or do you try and stick to particular themes/ideas?

thats means so much to me i disliked my island so much but lately i've been starting to like it! layout is so difficult, especially moving everything over to change it! i just work on my layout over time little by little since i cant do big updates or changes

Thank you so much Merielle! I think that's totally fine! It's so hard to get in the groove too. A lot of the time I don't even feel like decorating. When I do though, it's so much fun!
Awesome question! I hazily remember playing New Leaf on my brother's 3DS, but I didn't really understand what to do haha. That actually just came to me, so I'm glad I got some memory of that back! This is the first time I ever indulged a lot in the Animal Crossing series, and I'm really happy to be apart of the fanbase ^ ^

Aaaa yes they deserve the world! Hahaha that is almost exactly how I think about terrain building
Also the island vibe definitely comfy! Though I would also say that's in combination with funny and cute haha I pick some goofy things to put in my island, but I really love cutesy stuff.

That is very true and I agree! I wish maybe it was a different grading system-- like how much you interact with your villagers or how much work you put into the island! Not just placing things for points, but digging up trees or planting things! I feel like that's a much better measurement of dedication.
