Hi everybody! Yeah I know, that's strange to register just for asking couple questions, sorry for that...

I'm playing NH from release, but still can't make my mind on some things =/ (I'm playing at my own pace, without grinding too much)

So my questions is:

How lobotomized Animals in NH? I mean, are they literally bland and will repeat some 2 or 3 dialogs again and again, or they actually have some interesting thing to say and actually reflect on events? (not that constant speech about eggs).

Is there a way to invite them to my house (not island, actually visit my house)? Some of them literally ask me to invite them to my house, but I don't know how.

p.s. I previously played WW (but not very long) and NL and after many hours I stopped playing because I get tired of how one dimensional, repetitive and blank animals was...

p.p.s. just for my sanity check, my friend confirmed that in WW animals was actually good and that's not my imagination

1. The conversations seem a bit bland when you first start out but if you talk to your villagers every day and befriend them, their conversations are actually very enjoyable! I personally think its improved a lot from past games.

2. As of right now I havent had anyone ask to come to my home or vise versa. Not sure if this is a feature but I've only been playing since launch and I havent time traveled at all so I may not be at that level of friendship with my villagers yet.

No. Only during the start of the game are the dialogues shallow. I don’t TT and after some time of a lot of bonding with them, the dialogue became so expansive. They even take note of stuff you did or say. They have memories. They have relationships with each other. They sing. They play. There are many threads on here discussing how alive the villagers are in this game compared to NL.

Hmmm I'm thinking this might not be the series for you, if you haven't liked villager interaction in any of the games. There's nothing you can really do about that so I'm just going to say good luck finding a game that is more suitable to your needs :)

Speaking of which, I totally cracked up today when Deirdre gave me an anatomical model that she didn’t want anymore. She told me that if I didn’t want it, I could just use it to prank Billy or something. So funny. They’re my two starting villagers. Lol.

It better than NL...that game personality wise was an abomination of epic proportion. Literally the only AC game I didn't care about dreamie or who my villager were.

I love Billy. I thought he would be my least favorite villager and he would be the first one to get kick out once my villager slot were full but now I don't think I will do that.

He talk about working out but never does. Most he does is his naruto run and sitting (pretending he ab crunching). He also eat really unhealthy food like donut ice cream on a stick. On the other hand my little gal Fuchsia is seen working out with dumbell and eating healthy food like sandwich. God I love Billy! He truly is the G.O.A.T.

Phew, Thank You everyone for answering! :) My sanity is safe for now 😆

I personally like how Ma Boi Apollo is teasing me in this game!

But question about inviting villagers is still up, I can't find answer for that anywhere and even tried to invite them by mail (of course this went to nothing) =(

NOOOPE! 😂 Even for that short time I played WW I really appreciated my time with game, even more with NL (until Animals started to drive me nuts!)

Also I'm strange person and playing solo mostly, so interactions with animals is main thing for me
