Hi everyone! Decided to finally sign up to the forum after lurking about for months, impatiently trying to get as many impressions as I can about New Leaf before it's released! I'm a primary school teacher from the UK, and my wife works for a magazine - we sometimes get review copies of Nintendo games sent to us (most recently got Luigi's Mansion and Fire Emblem a few weeks before release), so I've got fingers crossed for an early copy of New Leaf! 
I first got into Animal Crossing on the GameCube, after impatiently importing a copy from America. Played it obsessively for a year or so, until I'd caught all the fish and insects. Then did the same with Wild World, though, like many, skipped the Wii version as it looked too samey. Getting very excited for the release of New Leaf now - finally the long, long wait is nearly over. Here's hoping it lives up to expectations!
