Hi! My name is Alisa and I am the mayor of Icecreek. I have been playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf since June 2013 but I have recently reset my town about two months ago. I have played Animal Crossing Wild World, City Folk and New Leaf and I've enjoyed them all. Collectibles are just for fun. They aren't used for anything, however there are upgrades in the shop which do do something. Just check the description and it'll tell you.

The regular collectibles are just fun to collect.
