Hi, found this site as I was browsing help on nookazon, my names maddz an my island is called hogwarts, its my second after my island hogesmede got deleted but it was only a few months anyway so no real loss, am sure you can guess what theme it is

Been playing new horizons since its launch and its my first AC game, got pretty addicted to it then it was abandoned for months an I've recently gotten back into it

Glad to meet everyone an know there's another site other than nookazon

your island sounds cool! i love how there’s a variety of harry potter themed islands out there, and yet they’re all unique in their own way, despite being themed after the same series!

Island is going slow but getting there, I am usually on nookazon trying to get things but the majority never get back to me lol, I am looking forward to the update an it's what's brought me back into the game as it had been left for months before that, will be nice to see what new things I can get from it as well

oof yeah, that seems to be a recurrence on there unfortunately — i‘ve seen a lot of people say that they don’t get responses on nookazon either, or that they have to deal with traders taking forever to respond/ghosting them. i imagine its frustrating, but like @/S.J. said, the trading community on here is great and a lot more active now that there’s an update on the way!

if there’s any items in particular that you’re looking for, feel free to let me know and i’ll gladly help out if i can! ☺

yeah! there are plenty of members on here who use both nookazon and tbt, and you can definitely link your nookazon wishlist on here as well! if you’re interested in beginning to trade on here, nook’s cranny is where you’ll wanna go. most people on here tend to prefer to sell in-game stuff for forum currency called tbt, which can be earned through posting on the forums (the longer the post, the more tbt you earn), participating in forum events, selling in-game items, etc, but there are plenty of sellers on here who’ll accept bells or nook mile tickets as payment! this community is also incredibly generous, so people are constantly giving away items for free as well.

it’s totally okay to not know what things are worth! pricing can be tricky, especially when item values seem to be constantly fluctuating aha. i recommend looking at recent threads in the nook’s cranny subforum to try and get a general idea of what prices items tend to go for on here. different sellers have different prices, but they’re all pretty consistent imo!

i’m afraid i don’t have an ivy wall for you, but i’ve got plenty of reorderable stuff if there’s anything you’re looking for in particular!

i also hope this wasn’t too confusing. i suck at explaining stuff haha.
