I'm totally gonna vote, that's the only way you can get one of those "I Voted" stickers that look so jaunty when you wear then around town the rest of the day.

is anyone going to stay home in protest?

Not gonna vote. I'm in the UK anyway, so even if I wanted to I couldn't.

I don't think it's right to vote just for the sake of voting, especially if you hate both candidates equally like I do. I'd only ever vote if I genuinely believed in somebody's worth as a president/prime minister or whatever.

I do hope people are educated about what they're voting for so we don't end up with another "brexit".

"none of the above," a valid choice.

however, there are other election contests going on besides that for President of the United States, for federal, state and local offices and initiatives, so even if one chose not to vote for President there are likely other issues that one would want to cast a ballot upon...

I'm Canadian so no but if anyone thinks not voting is "protesting" anything than hoo boy.

I understand not voting if you're uneducated on both nominees (although you had more than enough time to dig through information) or if you're just unsure, but really

already done

now I'm gonna stay home and play video games and stuff on election day, while avoiding all social media

since pre-election has been emotionally draining and stressfully unhealthy enough as-is

I don't think staying home in protest would make any difference at all, it'll likely be such a negligible number of people that do so, probably not much more than previous years, I wouldn't say doing so is much of a "protest".

I've pretty much always said that voting is important, especially in the younger generation, but honestly if I had the option to vote I'd most likely not vote (or vote Hillary, reluctantly..), it's sad that there's so many people in the middle/not happy with either, neither are doing a particularly good job thus far.

If I weren't in the UK I probably wouldn't vote anyway because it's hard to choose between 2 horrible candidates.

Unfortunately I can't vote right now.

But I am going to pull an all-nighter tonight and keep up with the news! I'm excited because this is my first election I really followed coming to an end. Crossing my fingers for Trump!

Wouldn't it bet better to pull an all nighter tomorrow, as thats the election day?

the Yes votes are losing to the No votes, how can that be? (unless a lot of the no votes are people who aren't registered anyhow...)

I wish I'd posted this poll from Chicago so i could vote a second time.... (ta da dum...)
