Horror Patterns/Themes

So, I was already expecting some amazing town designs and themes in New Horizons. There's so much customization, it's crazy.

*Please note that some of these designs are pretty realistic 'blood wise', so keep that in mind! There's nothing crazy gross- but I know some people hate horror stuff. I had some thoughts myself.

Some of these patterns are kind of gross. They're awfully well-made, but that adds to the 'gore' effect of them. It's kinda off-putting for me, anyway. I mean, people can do whatever they want in their towns- I'm not saying they shouldn't! I just hope they add some sort of warning before they bring people over to check them out. For the kiddos, sake. lol

I just wanted to see other people's opinions on this. What do you think of this...?

I think it's great! I loved visiting horror dream towns in New Leaf such as Aika village or Hitokui, and these creepy towns have spread the popularity of the game too. While they're not exactly child-friendly, it adds some spice to the game for adult players

I love looking at peoples creations especially the horror stuff. EXCEPT EXCEPT ;-; that one post on reddit on recreating the ring... I was just looking through to see some cute animal crossing clips or pictures then next thing you know BAM! I scrolled drown and its right there the acnh recreation of the ring and a picture of the ring right below it. I just lost it and couldn't sleep properly the other night. I even had sleep paralysis :/

Hopefully we are going to get some kind of dream suite feature, it would be great to visit some of these weirder and themed island!

I love them! planning on making my town fairly horror-ish and some of these look like they could work in my island! I especially LOVE that castlevania one, definitely taking inspo from that

as for the one's that include blood on the face or under gulliver, I just think that stuff's hilarious lmao
and in this game, patterns finally look like part of the environment rather than just pixel art, so you can really go all out with it and I love that

There is a LOT of talented designs there. I'm impressed and totally want to find out how I can recreate that Castlevania room xD Maybe the padded room with the bloody handprint too. We'll see xD

I can't seem find it anymore :/ but I remember it wasn't on the first page when I saw it, maybe 2nd and after. It was the actual picture of sadako getting out of the well that really did it for me not the acnh recreation screenshot.
