House upgrade (spoiler)

Im so upset i upgraded my house and they added a room to the back! They didnt ask where i would want to put it just forces you to put one in the back! I hate having a room back there. I love the game but this is the only thing i really dont like

I agree, some people only want certain rooms so you should be able to pick like in new leaf

Agree as well, I liked being able to pick. You can't upgrade the sizes of extra rooms either, so they're stuck at 6x6. The 1st floor and basement are a weird size at 10x6 apparently.

Not so sure why they changed the sizes, it really irks me for some reason. But I can make do I suppose

I kinda like the different shape room upstairs. It gives some room to do something different with it. I wish you had more options to decide the shape of the extra rooms.

I feel the exact same way, I actually expected to be able to change the location of in-doors and to change the size of rooms like in Happy Home Desinger. I felt disappointed when I saw the full expansion. Still love the game tho.

Honestly, I'm just happy total cost is cheaper. The New Leaf house was way too expensive compared to older games. I'd still like the final upgrade to be about 1.6mil instead of 2.5mil, to knock the final price down further, but it isn't unbearable.

Honestly it was SO HARD for me to pick room location in NL I'm glad it does it for me in NH. I'm going to upgrade my house completely anyway.... so I don't see the problem.

After your living room has been expanded, the following rooms are in this order:

• Back Room
• Left Room
• Right Room
• Upstairs (Second Story)
• Basement

This is bothering me as well—not just because I specifically dislike the back room too, but because I like giving all of my characters different house layouts. That combined with not being able to change the shape of the exterior really makes creating alt characters a lot less appealing to me unfortunately ;ェ;
