I've had this happen on a thread of mine in the last couple weeks, and now it's happening to my ask thread. It seems that the comments just disappear? Like it'll say that the newest comment was made very recently but the newest comment on the post itself was made earlier.

I don't get why comments disappear. Is it a glitch? Does it need to be reported, or better yet is this something that the mods can fix?

Unfortunately this is a glitch with the software the forum runs on, vBulletin - something that Bell Tree staff have no control over. It usually fixes itself when a newer post is made, however!

Oh, alright. I wasn't sure if it was just a forum issue or if it was a software issue.

Now that you mention that it fixes itself, I remember that after I made a post on the thread, the new comments showed up. I'll just have to remember that next time something like this happens.

Feel free to report the thread if it's happening and a staff member can post and delete a comment in order to get it back on track, but more often than not we find that it's already fixed itself by the time we get around to it.

:)

Oh, that explains it!

I was experiencing it too.
