How did a I get this much TBT?

I'm curious to know as to why I have like 800 something bells? Like I just started on here on the twenty eighth. Around now I should have maybe like 150 bells (around something like that I think). But yesterday I gained a random 200 bells and then today I gained like a random 500?? I'm quite confused, would someone care to explain? I apologize for my noobieness. ^^'
(I accidentally posted this on the ACNL forum where you talk about the game only, I apologize! I just joined recently and I'm still trying to figure everything out).
