So i'm working on a piece rn and i watch playbacks before and it looks like their blending colors? So i was just wondering how would you do that?

I didn't think you could. o: Using the opacity settings on the brush seems like the only way you'd be able to, but I haven't used Colors in a long time so I can't say what sort of results you'd get.

Its like they make two of the same colors of different shades and make them look really good together, but when I try to do that it looks like crap.

Don't be discouraged! It all takes a lot of practice finding the right technique that suits your style best. There's a lot of different ways, like changing the opacity, as well as changing the hardness (100 = super clean edges, good for lineart, 0 = airbrush). Try to experiment with different brushes as well, not just the same one all the time! Chances are, your favorite artists mix it up without you knowing it!!
