How Do I Make a Thread?

Hey guys, so aside from this here thread (which I could make by clicking the link in the "Contact Us" area) I am completely clueless as to how I make a thread. I have verified my account and yet I do not see a button or a prompt to make a thread anywhere on the page. I will greatly appreciate it if anyone can help me out.

That's strange. The button for posting a new thread should be here:

Alright, I looked where you said and for some reason the button is still missing.

click the Forum Tools tab on whichever board you're on, you will see an option there in the popup to start a new thread...

You're looking under the "new posts" tab which is why the option isn't showing. If you click on one of the board titles to be brought to the board index, you'll be given the option to create threads
