well, I thought I could never catch some rare bugs (Golden Stag and Giant Petaltail), but then I put just 2 lucky items in my house... and it amazed me that I caught them. Coincidence? Maybe... but I've seriously noticed a difference. <_<

The cat suit isn't a Lucky Cat item, it's just a suit, the Lucky Cat items are little statues of Cats.

Fung Shei is another one to get more luck, go read a fung shei guide somewhere.

The shovel thing only happens on wifi, I think.
