You just post. The longer your posts are, the more TBT you get. Keep in mind that some forums like the Basement and the Bulletin Board do not give you bells for posting. And another thing, if you post, please do not spam or use incomplete quote tags.

You can also sell collectibles or participate in TBT giveaways to earn TBT.

Make long posts basically; you can also go sell items/signatures/collectibles whatever your specialty and charge people some tbt. You can also get some on your birthday. Another thing is, since you are new you should get some bells when you first enter the forums.

That's because you just joined today. To make sure there are no spam bots or anything like that I think you have to wait a day or two to receive 200tbt.

Yeah, to get bells you have to make quality posts or you can sell collectibles, art, acnl items, pokemon, and more.

its already been answered, but i wasn't sure at first either but then i just started commenting and posting and i earned some right away i just write comments whenever i can if i need a bit more

An easy way to get TBT is to buy collectibles from the store when they are restocked and sell them. I had 400 TBT before the restock from the TBT direct, but now I have 10,000 from selling the collectibles I bought.
