How do you arrange your furniture sets?

Hello everyone! Question: how do you prefer to arrange your furniture sets?

The reason I'm asking is I'm looking for inspiration. Back in WW, CW, and the original AC, I loved the classic furniture and I always had a way of arranging it that I preferred. I always bought a certain amount of furniture pieces from each set (ex: one bed, three couches, two end tables) and arranged them a specific way (three couches arranged to make an almost completed square with mini tables to fill in the corner gaps).

However, I've decided to go with the minimalist set and my previous furniture layout won't work as nicely.

So how do you arrange your furniture sets? How many of each piece do you buy? How do you arrange the furniture with others (ex: do lamps always go near the beds, or do wardrobes always go near the beds)?

I think it depends on the theme of the room, but I usually place things where ever looks nice or where ever I'd put it if I had to make this sort of theme in real life.

for me, i do a mixture of furniture sets that seem to flow well together. i also place things similar to how thatawkwardkid does, i think. just placing things that seem natural, like something you would find in your home in rl. for me i tend to like having coffee tables in front of sofas, or mini tables next to sofas (with pictures or flowers on the table)

I just pick whatever would work with the look I want to give that room, and I have no problem mixing sets that look nice together.

I'm weird and OCD, so all of my rooms have a VERY similar layout. I've had people tell me that my house looks kinda bland because of that. XD So, I guess you should just consider each furniture set individually, and try to find an arrangement that compliments that particular furniture set. Good luck!
