How do you catch a bee's hive?

You can't catch bee hives...but you can catch bees. You have to be quick though O.O

What I do is go out shaking trees, with only the net in my inventory, when a hive drops, I run away, use the quick switch into the net and swing, you have about a 15% chance of geting one, it is worth it once you do though.
