Pokémon How do you feel about the new season of pokemon

So I’ve been binging the new season of Pokémon and I thought what do other people think about it I know that I like it a lot but I just finished the episodes with all the galar region stuff and it was goodish the last episode of the galar stuff is not what I liked but I didn’t mind that much but how do you feel about this season

How about Ash just goes back to Alola, takes his place as Champion and we never hear from him again. We know Pokémon has always hated being predictable and the one predictable thing is that the anime will always have Ash, his electric rodent, and [side character/s from new region].

i haven't seen the new season yet, the pokemon xy&z series was amazing and the sun & moon series was terrible so i'm worried pokemon journeys will be even worse
i've heard it's bad so idk if i should watch it, to be fair i actually can't watch it since idk where to find it lol

I’m in a similar boat as you. I really liked XY but didn’t like the Sun&Moon series. I watched every episode since the very beginning back in season 1 but stopped part way through S&M and I’ve had no desire to finish it. So safe to say I haven’t seen any of the new series either. I haven’t heard anything all that good about it either.

I don't watch the show (love the gen 4-5 era tho) but what i've seen of the sun/moon anime SUCKED. I saw a few episodes of the new series and it seems SLIGHTLY better than gen 7 so i can't really say for sure

All i know is that if the show is as good as the game we're in for a rough time...

Pokemon Journeys is on Netflix for those who were wondering how to view it.

Anyway, with regards to the question... I find it enjoyable for what it is, but it’s honestly not as good as past seasons. The gen 4 anime is still my favorite to this day as it was when I was first getting into Pokemon, and I remember watching episodes before and after school all the time. I think the series has progressively gone downhill over time, the only constant being that Ash and Pikachu will continue to be in the series no matter what (which is a negative in and of itself). I really do wish, like others, that they would replace Ash with a new protagonist already rather than having him be eternally young, but sadly I don’t know if that will ever happen at this point.

Pokemon tv is very slow at uploading new episodes it just got the full season witch sucks so it’s gonna be awhile before the entire series comes

I actually saw it was available on Netflix yesterday and considered watching it, but haven't yet. I have such fond memories of watching the Hoenn and Sinnoh series on Cartoon Network when I was little, but haven't watched any other Pokemon shows since then. I tried watching the Sun and Moon series a few years ago to try to re-live some of that nostalgia, but they were way too "young" for me so I didn't get past the first 3 episodes. I know its a kids show, but I usually love watching old cartoons/shows that I use to like when I was younger once in a while on rainy days, but in my opinion the Sun and Moon series was extremely dull and boring. Maybe I'll try Pokemon Journeys, though.

To be true sun and moon sucked it was terrible but Pokémon journeys is so much better still not the same as the older shows but a lot better then sun and moon

I lost my interest for the Pokemon anime a long time ago, therefore I also stopped catching up with it. However, I do sometimes watch clips of the current seasons out of curiosity whenever they pop up randomly on YouTube, just to see how the quality is and if it's maybe worth to start watching it. From what I saw so far about Pokemon Journeys, it's not my taste tbh. The Sun & Moon series was already not so appealing to me, mainly because I didn't enjoy the games and also disliked most of the characters. I would welcome it if they focus on a season without Ash and Pikachu as the main protagonists. Nothing against the two, but a new main character along with their Pokemon would be kinda refreshing after so many years.
