Turnips for easy cash and money rock for a progressive but steady cash flow.
U could also plant money trees( but it hasen't worked for me so far)

Here's a trick for bit of extra profit from fishing and fossil hunting, save all of your rare fossils and fish for the flea market, then sell them all to your neighbors for more cash then usual.
