How do you think Able Sisters/clothing design will fit in on the island?

This has been quite possibly my favorite feature of Animal Crossing games so far, so I admit the idea of being on a deserted island leaves me wondering how custom clothing designs and QR codes might fit in. Do you think there will be a mainland? Something to do with your phone, perhaps? I would love to hear theories.

Oh i'm sure we'll add buildings in the game later on, there's just no way on how we'll do it yet.

Yeah I'm sure we will either get a shopping area or you place their store right on the map once you've unlocked it. I don't know how QR code patterns will fit in yet, although I really hope they do. It's too soon to say either way.

I was thinking about this, as well as with the other stores... I’m sure there’s more to be revealed to do with that area of the game as I can’t imagine them getting rid of the Able Sisters entirely, I’m not too sure how though.

I think we are going to build/design mainstreet like in HHD or we are going to use the "miles" shown in the treehouse live to fly to somewhere where we can buy things.

I LOVE piers so I really really like this idea, that would be such a cool feature.

On Treehouse they kinda made it obvious they didn't want to show the plane area. Unless I missed something, but from what I saw they made a big point of walking around it. I think the plane will have something to do with shops.

I was thinking perhaps maybe you have to unlock it somehow ? Nothing crazy but do x y z to get your 'deserted' island less deserted, such as paying off a loan for your home, and then the Ables and everyone else will pop in and say something like 'this looks like a great new place to open up business' or something like that, y'know ? Sort of like Gracie in ACNL

I'm guessing there will either be the option to build shops in your town, or there will be another area to visit that has everything (like the city in City Folk.)
