I have to say, I'm kind of hoping for sea people. But then I think about how much garbage is the ocean already so I'm not sure it'd be a very viable adaptation. Our 'ancestors' did have gills so it might not be as far fetched.

Another possibility: humans as a species will become cave dwellers/ underground beings. Maybe if the surface gets wrecked enough we'll migrate underground - but here I'm not sure if what you can cultivate underground would be sufficient enough to survive on.

P: the possibilities are endlessssss

Bird people or we riot.

LET US SOAR.

living w roaches, piles of bat **** and sulfuric acid doesn't sound too nice to adapt to...so for the sake of future generations i hope it doesn't come to that

I have doubts of the human race surviving the next century, let alone a million years

exactly what I was going to say. it really does feel like life is slowly coming to an end day by day. who knows

If we survive we're gunna live off garbage and be like 10 feet tall. Horrifying garbage giants.

I predict that we will become robots. Our body parts will be repaired and replaced using robotics, and eventually so will our brains. It will be a very gradual process, and the end result is something I imagine none of us will live to see, but immortality will be in reach at some point in the near future, and I dread to imagine what people will do with that power.

Oh man, so I mean I've always thought that the world of Repo! The Genetic Opera was a very plausible future. It's basically where there's so much disease and stuff that people have to buy organs left and right at a very hefty price meaning they can't really afford them, so repo men come and repossess the organs by ya know, murdering you. So the poor all die off basically. People get addicted to surgery as well as the drugs given to them while they undergo surgery, and the rich spend money on the newest body modification trends(kind of like the plastic surgery of today) as the dead stack up around the city. Every time I watch it I always think about how it's only set in a short time from now(2040-2056), but how it could totally happen.

Wearing other people's faces! =D

Echoing the others who have said that humanity will be extinct. I very highly doubt we will overcome the enormous challenges facing the continuation of the species currently and in the coming years, such as climate change and antibiotic-resistant diseases.

i think humanity would be doomed by then. potential world wars, in the many many years to come. superbugs. supervolcanoes. potential plagues and incureable diseases making a comeback. an asteroid colliding with the earth, big enough to cause huge destruction.

You know at the rate we're going at now, I don't see the Human race advancing that far in the future.
So no I don't believe we will evolve in terms of mind, body and behaviour.

The amount of wars that are happening are major setbacks and cause us a crap ton of money which we could use to advance the sciences and other things which will secure our future, global warming will increase as time goes on and we won't be able to stop it (you can't but you can stop contributing) at all because people are too ignorant to realise what is actually happening and what will happen in the future if we don't try to save it, but it will be too late.

I will be dead by then as well as a lot of people I hold dear so I really don't care what happens for the rest of Humanity, we're disgusting creatures who are cruel, greedy and lazy, so to be perfectly honest I wouldn't mind to see the rest of Humanity rot by then, I just feel this way OK? That's not to say I don't appreciate what I have now because I do its just that I can see through the cracks of our entire being, I'm not necessarily saying we as individuals are cruel, greedy and so on because its not true, I'm talking about us as a species and our ancestors which is true and we all know it.

So yeah, there's my thoughts.

With all the regression we see in the world I'm expecting us to start crawling back into the ocean any day now.

I doubt we'll survive that long but if we do I hope Star Trek turns out to be an accurate prediction.

We'd be killing the life as we know it. Who the heck knows how we're gonna survive all the toxic gasses and other hazards.
