How fast will grass grow back?

its like on the game box...it's a thin, man made path. like the color of the dirt patches... ill post a pic....

I've finally gotten the paths wore down enough in my town where I can begin regrowing the areas around it that we no longer walk on. But man I'll tell you, it was an ugly first week of disappointment and Anxiety with the game(Which both have faded)
